Two routes are available to you.
The first via Lourdes, Argelès-Gazost, the Pierrefitte gorges to get to Luz Saint Sauveur and towards Barèges. From here begins the climb to the Col du Tourmalet and during a well-deserved break, you can visit the Maison du Tourmalet. Descent towards La Mongie towards Bagnères de Bigorre, after passing through Campan. A few more kms to return to the guest house via the Côte de Loucrup which you take downhill.

The 2nd in the opposite direction and at Campan, you can opt for the ascent of the Aspin and return via Arreau, Sarrancolin, Capvern, Bagnères de Bigorre…

Departure from the guest house, Lourdes towards Saint Pé de Bigorre, crossing Lestelle Bétharam you can visit the Notre Dame de Bétharram sanctuary before taking the road to Louvie Jouzon towards Laruns. At Eaux Bonnes, you are at the foot of the Aubisque. On the way up you will leave the Gourette ski resort on your right. Once there, a magnificent landscape awaits you. To the west the Laruns valley, and to the north-east the Ouzoum valley. Two options are available to you. Option to descend towards the Val d'Azun towards Arrens-Marsous, Argeles-Gazost then Lourdes…

Soulor option with the descent towards Arbéost and Ferrières, Arthez d'Asson, Asson and return via Saint Pé de Bigorre, unless you choose from Coarraze to take the Lamarque Pontacq road towards Lourdes and return home.

The previous routes are of course suitable for your "road trips" with beautiful bends and breathtaking landscapes. You can opt for more or less frequented destinations such as the Gavarnie cirque, the Pourtalet pass, the Loudenvielle and Saint Lary valleys among others.

On your way you may come across herds of cows and sheep. Caution is required, but the sensations are pleasant.
